Just in time for Valentine’s day.
A great movie for both men and women to enjoy. A nice take on a romantic love story that mixes both pop culture, and zombie fiction. The story was very interesting and unique in its own way. Don’t let the terrible movie poster (shown on left) sway you from watching the movie. This movie is great on it’s take of romance, comedy and mixing in with zombies. Would anyone think that is possible?
Rating: B+ (must see, bring a date!)
This movie was great in terms of the action scenes being very unique. They showed a wide variety of weaponry that mixed with new age technology .
You won’t find many one liners that will stick to your brain. But the action was quite sufficient
We suggest watching this movie in 3D because unlike many other movies the 3D was actually eye popping good (they actually had 3D!). Scenes with trees breaking would actually come flying right out at you. Some other movie patrons jumped out of their seat from the flying debris which did make me chuckle to myself. (better dodge that fake tree)
The makeup and special effects of the witches were great. Famke Janssen (a.k.a. Jean Grey) makes a great villain.
Jeremy Renner does quite a good performance even though we did find it a bit cheesy when he shoots something and does his pose with the shotgun on his back. Gemma Arterton was spectacular in this movie and from her role in this film made us an instant fan of hers.
Rating: B-
TL;DR: It’s quite a short movie and there’s not much story to it. All in all we suggest at least seeing this once.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is back! Finally staring in a movie which he hasn’t done so in 10 years. He comes back as of course an sheriff of a small town.
If you are looking for a action movie with a lot of story don’t bother. This is just a straight action movie. Lots of plot holes and scenes will make you think What? Why did they do that
One funny thing if you watch as the movie progresses is Forest Whitaker crooked eyes gets more and more crooked as the movie continues

Rating: D+ The plot holes and cheesiness was just to much for us to bear and so we ended up not really enjoying this movie. We do however miss Arnold and it made us dust off some of his old classics to watch.
